Disembodied

Disembodied Remastered

"Disembodied" was originally shot by three filmmaker/horror film enthusiasts  - William Kersten, Bob Richardson and Jim Diederichsen -  and a cast of local actors including Stacy Woolverton, Hannah Cooper and George Randolph.  It was made on 16mm film in a rented warehouse and on the seediest streets of Reno NV in 1995-96, using three Bolex cameras and a 100 lb. Auricon 16mm sound camera.  It took two years to shoot (because so few people worked on it)  and was distributed briefly, withdrawn from circulation, then in 2015 scanned to HD video, re-edited with new FX and music, and is now mastered to Bluray, though not yet distributed.

So far the film has received an award for Best Sci-Fi from Madhouse Movies Film Festival 2017, and was an Official Selection of the Bloody Horror International Film Festival 2016, and the 13Horror.com 2017 Film Contest.  A trailer has been created, available here:
